Hearings on Sierra Madre Water and Sewer Rate Increases Start Aug. 14
The City of Sierra Madre will be considering increasing water and sewer rates for city customers in October and leading up to that decision will be holding a series of public hearings.
The hearings will focus on the city's finances for the water and sewer department, necessary capital investment in public infrastructure and other topics related to the possible rate increases.
Below, from the city's website, is the schedule of hearings and topics that will be discussed at each meeting:
Wednesday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m. - City Hall Council Chambers, 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd.
Water and Sewer Department's Budget, Finances, and Bond Debt
Monday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. - Maintenance Yard, 621 E. Sierra Madre Blvd.
"State of System" - Capital and Long Term Master Plan, Sewer & Water System Needs
