As the only hardware store in Sierra Madre, Arnold's Frontier Hardware and Gifts has a lot on its plate. But it always come through, taking care of everything from key making to pipe threading to renting carpet-cleaning equipment. The national Ace Hardware chain supplies much of Arnold's tool inventory. But that's only a fraction of the 8,000-strong stock of paint, plumbing supplies, toys, greeting cards, magazines and much more. Now in its 47th year, Arnold's is a store "where old-fashioned service is never outdated."
