Happy New Year! 

If you're thinking about adding a new member to your family, consider adopting from the Pasadena Humane Society! Here are four animal companions who would love to find a loving forever home:

A319045 — Sparky is a playful, seven-year-old, tricolor Parson Russell terrier. He's been out on our Mobile got along with everyone he encountered. He loves toys too! His regular adoption fee is $120. He does qualify for our Seniors for Seniors program for eligible adopters 60 years old or older.

A319137 — Nick is a four-year-old, black and white neutered cat. He's very sweet and social, but would do well in household with no little children. His adoption fee is $70.

A319347 —Rocket is a young Agouti rabbit. He loves attention and is a very outgoing bunny. His adoption fee is $30.

A318930 — Beau is a shy four-year-old Chihuahua. He came to the shelter with an injured left eye that had to be surgically removed. He would do well in a calm, attentive household. Contact an adoptions counselor for more information on Beau.

The adoption fee includes the animal’s spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, the first set of vaccinations, as well as a free follow-up health check at a participating vet. New adopters will receive complimentary health and wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals. Ask an adoptions counselor for more information during your visit.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at 626.792.7151 and refer to the animal’s “A” number, or visit us  at 361 S. Raymond Ave in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11-4 Sunday, 9-5 Tuesday –Friday and 9-4 Saturday. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters from phone calls or email. Start 2013 on the right foot, or paw, by taking a training or activity class with your pooch. Five-week classes begin January 14. Classes are held at PHS and at the LA Arboretum in Arcadia. Get all the class descriptions and schedules here.
