Applications Due Tuesday for Civic Club Education Awards
Annual program gives monetary awards to high school seniors who engage in community service.
This Tuesday, March 1 is the deadline to submit applications for the Sierra Madre Civic Club's annual education awards which are given to select high school seniors who will be graduating in 2011 and have gone above and beyond in serving the community. The awards will be given at the club's May 12 meetings at the Hart Park House in .
Applying students are required to submit a personal essay and letter of recommendation from a supervisor with significant knowledge of the applicant's community service experience and involvement.
