Wound Care Advantage Helps Feed the Community

With a front lobby full of macaroni and cheese, canned goods and diapers, Wound Care Advantage (WCA) spent the month of June fighting hunger and cleaning out their pantries by holding a Summer Food Drive.

The food drive began in the beginning of June and ended the first week of July. The team at Wound Care Advantage actively participated in the drive and it showed by the abundance of food and home goods that filled several boxes at the corporate office.

The food was taken to The Shield of Faith Christian Center of Pasadena. Shield of Faith helps feed the community the first and third Thursday of every month. They take donations and volunteers for both their Food Program and Brown Bag Delivery Service.
