They say that you can never go home again, but I am here to tell you that you absolutely can. I grew up in the (then) small town of Fillmore, which had a population of ~10,000.
Moving to Sierra Madre has absolutely been like going home again. It's literally taken 10 years off of my current 40.
I walk almost daily, and enjoy the solitude of walking my Black Lab at five in the morning, when all is quiet and the beauty of nature slaps you in the face (in a good way).
