USA Men's Water Polo Defeats Croatia at Rose Bowl

The U.S. Men's Water Polo team triumphed over Croatia 9-5 Friday. This is the first win against Croatia since the 2008 Olympic Games.

The U.S. Men's Water Polo team played to victory against Croatia Friday in front of a packed Rose Bowl Aquatic Center audience in Pasadena. 

Dubbed "The Game Before the Games," the match was meant to showcase the two teams talents before they head off the London for the Summer Olympics.

The event benefited the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center and hosted local dignitaries including Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard and Ilija Zelalic, Consulate General of Croatia.
