International Folk Dance Class

The Pasadena Folk Dance Co-Op invites you to learn dances from around the world. Our friendly group usually teaches the same dances for the first four Fridays of each month, so there is no need to commit to a series of lessons. Just show up in casual clothes and comfortable shoes. No partner is needed.

All ages are welcome. Most of our members are in their  40s, 50s and 60s, although we have some younger and older ones too. We have dancers of all skill levels, so whether you are a beginner or experienced, you would be most welcome.

Beginning teaching starts promptly at 7:45 pm every Friday. A more difficult dance is taught around 8:30 pm. Following a short break at 9:00 pm for refreshments, we repeat the dances that were taught and then continue with programmed and requested dances until 11:00 pm.
