Movie Ad Features St. Rita Students

Second graders answered questions about Santa and the Easter Bunny, which are featured in DreamWorks' 'Rise of the Guardians.'

If you want answers about childhood characters like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, who better to ask than children? That's what a production company charged with promoting DreamWorks' Rise of the Guardians did when it visited Sierra Madre's St. Rita Catholic School in October.

According to a press release posted on SierraMadreNews.net, teacher Melissa Cash's second-grade students were asked questions about the characters, like how Santa travels so quickly on Christmas Eve and what the Easter Bunny does with the teeth she collects.

The students can be seen answering questions in nationwide television spots as well as online (you can see one of the ads on the Rise of the Guardians website).

The movie, which is currently in theaters, tells a story about Santa, The Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and others banding together against an evil force.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
