La Salle's Jennifer Brady is Among the San Gabriel Valley Elite

Sierra Madrean and La Salle High School freshman played powerful volleyball on the San Gabriel Elite team.

Fifteen must be Jennifer Brady's lucky number. At age 15, the La Salle volleyball volleyball player's age 15 Elite team jersey sports #15 and her team came in 15th out of 114 in April's Western Region tournament.

A member of the San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club, Jennifer and her Premier Team  finished in 15th place out of 114 Age 15 teams in the Western Region of the Southern California Volleyball Association tournament, held in the Anaheim Convention Center on April 15-16.

Brady's team is coached by a "Megan duo." Per the team's website, head coach Megan Rush played NCAA volleyball  at Louisiana Tech University and now  coaches volleyball at Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena. Megan Feldmeth, the team's assistant coach, played Northeast-10 Conference volleyball at Franklin Pierce College, and also coaches volleyball for the freshmen at South Pasadena High School.

Brady first played beach volleyball with her Manhattan Beach cousins in the summers, and played 7th and 8th grade volleyball at , then joined San Gabriel Elite.  Brady also played volleyball for ’s freshman team this year.

This well rounded athlete and student balances her love for volleyball and academics, particularly biology and math, with piano study, Girl Scouting and the two year confirmation program at . Looking toward the future, Brady has her sights set on going to medical school.
