"My PC" Computer Classes at Sierra Madre Library

If you have avoided computer classes until now, fearing they might be boring or laden with incomprehensible technical jargon, Sierra Madre Library staff members Jill Schofield and Gerard Brane may have just the class for you.

Engineered to be hands-on, fun , comfortably paced, and eschewing as much "techno-babble" as possible, the "My PC" course series will teach pc users of all experience levels some helpful ways of making the most of their Windows 7 computer.

Starting Wednesday, January 25th, Jill and Gerard will be teaching a series of ten, one hour classes for Windows 7 users, covering an array of useful topics.   On the docket already are lessons titled "Start Here With Windows 7", "Digital Camera Tips and Tricks", and "Stay Safe With Windows 7".

In addition to the "MY PC" series, the Library will offer other Microsoft Word and Excel courses.  All of the above require a $20 deposit, which is either refundable upon attendance, or may be rolled over if students wish to attend more than one class.   A full listing of scheduled offerings may be viewed at www.sierramadre.lib.ca.us.

Please contact the library for more information or call Jill Schofield or Gerard Brane at (626)-355-7186.
