Budincich Graduates With Three Awards

Sierra Madre teen Nick Budincich is graduating Loyola High School with two academic awards and one athletic honor. He is headed to Stanford University in the fall.

Lifelong Sierra Madre resident Nick Budincich is graduating Loyola High School this spring with three awards and an athletic scholarship to Stanford University. 

Budincich received the Ed Castellanos Award for Dedication for his accomplishments in track and field. He set the Los Angeles County Championship Meet record for discus with a throw of 192'1." He also helped his team win its fifth consecutive CIF Div II championship.

Budincich also received two awards for the highest achievement in Math and Science studies at Loyola. At the end of last semester, his GPA was 4.2.
