VIDEO: Post Announcements on Patch, Reach Readers Instantly

This nifty video tutorial shows users of any Patch site how to post an announcement, including full press releases, by using the tools available to all users on the Patch.

Have you ever sent a press release to the editor of your Patch site and wondered when it was going to post?

Maybe you've sent him or her a birth announcement, obituary or school award only to wonder if it was ever going to be published?

Well, good news: Patch sites are designed in a way that is easy for users to post their own announcement without having to wait for the editor to post it for you.

In fact, it really is the best way to post your announcement or press release if you are a nonprofit agency, for profit agency, government body or other group to get your stuff on the Patch, instantly.

Follow the video tutorial to see how to do this, step by step. After you finish watching the video, consider using these techniques in the video to post your announcements right here on Sierra Madre Patch.

After you check out the video, you can click this link to start a new announcement post right now.

Happy Patching!

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
