Video: Huff's Capitol Comment for This Week

Senator Bob Huff gives us a quick update on what's going on in Sacramento this week, including info on leaders' responses to the sex abuse of students at a Los Angeles elementary school and Governor Jerry Brown's new tax plan.

Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) reports on a wide-ranging education reform effort introduced this week by Senate and Assembly Republicans and an about face by the Governor on the subject of new taxes in his Capitol Comment for this week.

Senate and Assembly Republicans joined forces to introduce new legislation in response to the abuse of numerous students at Miramonte Elementary School in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Republicans took action to introduce reform measures requested by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy and the LAUSD Board of Trustees. Senator Huff also gives his opinion on a new tax plan from the Governor, which would result in a $51 billion tax hike.
