Video: Huff on 'Ponzi Scheme' Pension Plan
Senator Bob Huff released a video Friday backing Governor Jerry Brown's pension reform plan. The Governor and Senator have called the current plan a Ponzi scheme.
Senator Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) spoke Friday on the State Senate Republicans' support of Governor Jerry Brown's pension reform plan.
"We have taken the Governor’s pension language verbatim to start this process. It’s certainly rare to see us agreeing with a Democrat governor… but today we stand here with the Governor to get this pension reform."
Governor Brown has called the current pension plan in California a Ponzi scheme, and Senator Huff agrees with him.

"It requires new people to come into the system to pay those that are benefitting from the current benefits," said Senator Huff.
