The following is a list of a few of the items on the agenda for the Jan. 22, 2012 Sierra Madre City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers. 

RESOLUTION NO. 13-07 APPROVING CERTAIN DEMANDS

  • Recommendation that the City Council  approveResolution No. 13-07 for ratification of payment of City warrants in aggregate amount of $215,706.07, Sierra Madre Library warrants in the aggregate amount of $9,027.96, and payroll transfer in the aggregate amount of $664,156.49 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013.

ACCEPTANCE AND APPROVAL OF THE 2012 STATE HOMELAND GRANT PROGRAM AND SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT

  • Recommendation that the City Council accept the $50,000 State Homeland Security Grant and authorize the City Manager to execute the subrecipient agreement.

PUBLIC HEARING -ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 13-04, APPROVING THE PROPOSED PROJECTS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2013-2014 AND 2014-2015

  • Recommendation that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 13-04 approving the proposal to utilize Fiscal Year 2013-2014 annual allocation of Federal CDBG funds for the construction of handicapped curb access ramps in approximately 22 locations citywide, and its Fiscal Year 2014-2015 annual allocation of Federal CDBG funds for the implementation of a Handyworker Program to benefit lower income Sierra Madre residents.
