As State Revenues Fall, Deficit Will Widen

Senator Bob Huff gives a quick video update on what's happening in Sacramento, including falling state revenues that will create an even larger budget deficit and his work on pension reform.

Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) touches on the resumption of committee hearings, falling budget revenues and public pension reform efforts in his Capitol Comment for the week of April 9.

The State Controller revealed this week that budget March revenues were once again below Governor Jerry Brown's budget projections, which will create an even larger state budget deficit with the start of the new fiscal year in July.

The Senate Republican Leader also calls upon the Legislature's Conference Committee on Public Employee Pensions to approve the Governor's 12-point public pension reform plan.
