Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Burbank will be hosting an online town hall on Facebook and Twitter on Wednesday.
Below is the email from Schiff's office with all the details on how it will work:
I’m writing to invite you to join in an #AskAdam online town hall this Wednesday, July 11th at 4:00 p.m. For an hour, I’ll be answering your questions on Facebook and Twitter about everything from the recent decision by the Supreme Court on the health care reform law, to ways to get our economy back on track and creating jobs, and whatever else you want to ask about.
Here is how you can participate:
How to Participate on Facebook
Ask a question on Rep. Schiff’s Facebook page any time on Tuesday and Wednesday, and he will try to get to as many as possible. You can login to his Facebook page here.
How to Participate on Twitter
Tweet at Rep. Schiff’s Twitter account (@RepAdamSchiff) and use the hashtag #AskAdam anytime on Tuesday and Wednesday, and he will try to get to as many questions as possible.
Last week we conducted a Telephone Townhall, and this week we are trying something new to stay in touch with an online town hall, and I hope that you can join. If we can’t get to your question during #AskAdam, I’ll answer a few questions via YouTube and share the answers.
You can always share your thoughts through Facebook or Twitter, and I hope you’ll sign up for my e-newsletter. Through these quick-read updates, I hope to keep you informed of my work at home and in Washington, D.C. on issues of interest to our communities, as well as provide an opportunity for you to keep me informed of your views and interests. As always, I welcome hearing from you on these and any other issues, and hope that you will stay in touch.
Correction: A previous version of this article claimed Schiff represented Sierra Madre. David Dreier represents Sierra Madre. Patch apologizes for the error.
