Report: L.A. County Population Grew in 2011

The growth includes Sierra Madre, which witnessed a 0.25 percent increase in 2011.

Sierra Madre's population of 10,963 makes it the 74th largest city in Los Angeles County and 363rd largest in California, according to the the California Department of Finance population report released earlier this week.  

The city enjoyed a 0.25 percent increase from 2011, the report states.

The report also cites that Sierra Madre's population was 10,936 on Jan. 1, 2011. By Jan. 2012 that figure was 10,963.

California's entire population as a whole reached 37.7 million, according to (KPCC) 89.3
