Plan to Turn Single Family Home into Multi-Family Units to be Heard by City Council

A plan to build two 900-square feet multi-family housing units on a lot where a single-family home currently stands will be heard by the Sierra Madre City Council at its meeting Tuesday night.

The property, located at 215 N. Baldwin Avenue currently is zoned as Residential Medium Density - to build the units would require the city to change the zoning to Residential High Density, according to the staff report.  Staff is recommending approval.

The home on the property is 3-bedrooms, 2,145 square feet and was built in 1947, according to the County Assessor Office website.
