After graduating from University of California, Riverside in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in History, Colin Braudrick moved to Sierra Made and began his career with the Los Angeles Police Department.

"I've been here for 16 years and I can't imagine a better place to raise my son," said Braudrick. "This is the city where I want my son to raise his own children."

Braudrick has held a variety of positions within the LAPD, including patrol officer, child abuse detective and homicide detective. Currently, the 37-year-old is a sergeant in Southeast Los Angeles.

In 2007, Braudrick received his MBA degree from Pepperdine University with an emphasis in Leadership and Managing Organizational Change.

"I believe I have the right skill set to deal with city issues and where we'll be headed over the next couple years," Braudrick said.

In the city, Braudrick has served on the board of the Sierra Madre Little League and is currently a member of the Sierra Madre General Plan Committee, Parks and Facilities Master Plan Committee and the Library Board of Trustees.

While their are a multitude of projects Braudrick is interested in pursuing if elected, the local father notes that he will always advocate for his city.

"My priority is to keep Sierra Madre--Sierra Madre," said Braudrick. "We are not overdeveloped. Our vibrant downtown is what keeps us a community. We are a community because of our downtown."
