Today: Last Chance to Register to Vote in April

Sierra Madre's municipal election is coming up on April 10. Today is the last day to register to vote. Here's what you need to do.

There's still time to register to vote in Sierra Madre's April 10 election.

As long as your voter registration form is postmarked by the end of the day today, you'll be able to elect three city council candidates and vote on Measures 12-1 and 12-2, the Utility Users Tax Increase Extention.

It's easy to do online:

  • Visit https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/register-to-vote/
  • Have your California driver's license number, ID number or the last four digits of your social security number ready. If you don't have one of these numbers, it's ok. The state will assign you a special number.
  • Make sure you have a way to download and view .pdf documents. You can download a program here.
  • Review the stipulations on the Secretary of State's website and fill out the form.
  • Print it and mail it by the end of the day.

The Sierra Madre Post Office at 61 S Baldwin Ave. is open until 5:00 p.m. today.

The Arcadia Post Office at 41 Wheeler Ave. is open until 6:00 p.m. today.
