Election Results: PUSD Board of Education

All the races had clear winners except for one, which will result in an April 16 run-off election.

Results are in for the Pasadena Unified school board elections that took place Tuesday. See results below.

Sierra Madre residents did not have a vote in any of the races because since the Measure A districting measure passed last June, district voters only vote for one candidate representing a geographical sub-district instead of voting for a full slate of at-large candidates (a majority of Sierra Madre voters opposed Measure A).

Still, each board member will have a say in deciding PUSD policies that will affect Sierra Madre.

Each candidate that earned 51 percent or more of the vote was declared a winner. Races where all candidates received less than that percentage will result in a run-off election April 16 between the two candidates that received the two highest percentages of votes.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
