Deadline Approaching for Halloween Window Painting Entries
The two-day event preceding Halloween is a favorite among Sierra Madre kids, but time is running out to get signed up.
The deadline to sign up for Sierra Madre's annual Halloween Window Painting Contest is coming up this Monday, Oct. 17, with entry forms due no later than 5:00 p.m.
Local youth between the ages of 9 and 17 years-old are all eligible to participate in the downtown window painting contest, which is free for all participants.
The actual window painting event will take place over a two-day period just before Halloween, on Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22.

The judging of the various entries and subsequent awards ceremony will be held on Sunday afternoon after all the windows are painted.
