Video: Air Rescue in Eaton Falls

The LASD has released dramatic footage of an air rescue that occurred last week in the falls area of Eaton Canyon. The video is graphic, so if you get queasy easily, you may want to skip this one.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has released video footage of an air rescue that occurred in the falls area of Eaton Canyon on July 13.

A man in his 30s reportedly fell 80 feet and landed on the canyon floor. He sustained head and shoulder injuries and was treated on the scene by Emergency Services Detail paramedics before being airlifted to safety. The Sheriff’s Air-5 helicopter was used for the rescue.

A second hiker, who is not in this video, was also rescued after this incident.

What do you think of this rescue? Do you feel safe hiking in Eaton Canyon?

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
