Sheriff's Deputy, Brother, Escape Altadena Shooting Attack

The deputy and his brother were inside a personal vehicle which was hit by at least one bullet, officials said.

A deputy and his brother in Altadena escaped injury Saturday when three shots were fired at them in a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.

The shootings occurred about 3:40 a.m. near Harriet Street and Lincoln
Avenue, as a dark-colored Lexus sedan pulled up beside the deputy's personal
vehicle's driver's side.

A passenger in the suspect car fired three rounds before the driver sped off.

Deputies searched the area but could not locate the suspect vehicle. Sheriff's Investigators asked that anyone who saw the shooting call 626-798-1131.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
