Resident Discovers Car Sideswiped, No Note Left

The incident happened in the 100 block of North Lima Avenue, according to the Sierra Madre Police Department's crime blotter.

At 8pm, a resident in the 100 block of North Lima Avenue parked his vehicle at the curb and went inside.  Two hours later he returned to his vehicle and discovered that the left side of the car was damaged. The investigation revealed that an unknown vehicle side-swiped that parked car, leaving scape marks and destroying the side view mirror.  The party at fault left the scene without making contact with the other party or leaving contact information on the damaged vehicle.
