Power Tools, IPod Charger Stolen From Unlocked Cars

The thefts took place around the same time on Thursday January 29.

Two vehicle theft incidents took place on Thursday January 29 around the same time of day, with power tools, an IPod charger and "miscellaneous documents" stolen from two separate cars.  From the Sierra Madre Police Department crime blotter:

A theft from vehicle took place in the 200 block of East Grandview Avenue.  Overnight, an unknown suspect entered an unlocked truck parked at the curb and removed a number of power tools.  

During the same time period, another theft from vehicle took place in the 600 block of West Alegria Avenue. An unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle parked at the curb.  An I-Pod power cord and miscellaneous documents were taken.

What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
