Attempt to Abandon Rabbits

A male adult and his juvenile son were found attempting to abandon two rabbits in Bailey Canyon Wilderness Park at 8:06 p.m. on Monday January 9, according to Sierra Madre Police Reports.

Criminal Threats on Facebook

This incident involves criminal threats posted on Facebook, which the victim perceived as threats to cause her greatly bodily harm or death.  An Emergency Protective Order was granted and the suspect was verbally served. The incident occurred at 9:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Montecito Ave.

Taking a Vehicle Without the Owner's Consent

On Tuesday January 10 at 2:39 p.m., Unknown suspects stole a 2011 Suzuki GSXR 750 Motorcycle from an apartment carport in the 600 block of W. Sierra Madre Blvd. The suspects were identified as two male Hispanics in a blue Astro minivan.

Danger to Self/Others/Gravely Disabled

This case involves woman being placed on a 72-hour hold for psychiatric evaluation at 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday January 10.

Disorderly Conduct/Drunk in Public at

Officers responded to Lucky Baldwins Pub regarding a disruptive patron who was refusing to leave at about 5:23 p.m. on Thursday January 12. Officers determined that the woman was too intoxicated to care for herself or others and arrested her for public intoxication. The Sierra Madre resident was transported to Pasadena Police Jail for booking.   

DUI Alcohol/Drugs

On Friday January 13 at 11:36 p.m. on the corner of Rosemead Blvd and Foothill Blvd, an officer stopped a 20-year old Burbank motorist for a Vehicle Code violation and found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The man was transported to Pasadena Police Department jail for booking.    

Use of Another Person's Identification to Obtain Credit, Etc.

12:59 PM- This case involves an unknown suspect that used the victim’s credit information to open a credit card account without the victim’s permission.

3:45 PM- This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s credit card information to make purchases.

Monday, January 9

12:50 PM- This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Wells Fargo credit card to make unauthorized charges. The victim used his card at the Valero gas station prior to the fraudulent charges.      

2:29 PM- This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Chase card to make unauthorized charges. The victim used his card at the Valero gas station prior to the fraudulent charges.    

3:54 PM- This case involves the attempted unauthorized use of the victim’s debit card number after purchasing gas at the Valero gas station.

10:07 PM- Use Another’s Personal Identification to Obtain Credit/Etc.  This incident involves the unauthorized fraudulent use of the victim’s credit/debit card number at two separate Chevron Gas Stations.

10:08 PM- Use Another’s Personal Identification to Obtain Credit/Etc.  This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Bank of America card to make unauthorized charges.

7:34 AM- This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Wells Fargo card to make unauthorized charges. 

10:06 AM-   This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Bank of America card to make unauthorized charges.  The victim used his card at the Valero gas station prior to the fraudulent charges. 

11:34 AM- This case involves the attempted unauthorized use of the victim’s debit card number after purchasing gas at the Valero gas station.

11:57 PM- This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Citizens Business Bank card to make unauthorized charges. 

2:16 PM- This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Citizens Business Bank card to make unauthorized charges. 

2:32 PM- This case involves an unknown suspect(s) using the victim’s Chase Bank card to make unauthorized charges. 

6:10 PM- This case involves the attempted unauthorized use of the victim’s debit card number after purchasing gas at the Valero gas station.

9:34 PM- This case involves the attempted unauthorized use of the victim’s debit card number after purchasing gas at the Valero gas station.
