Police Believe Man Arrested in Peeping Incident Could be Linked to Previous Ones

37-year-old Roger Wright of Sierra Madre was arrested on suspicion of prowling.

According to a media release from , 37-year-old Roger Wright of Sierra Madre was arrested on suspicion of prowling in connection with an incident in which a woman reported a man looking in her window.

On the morning of April 25 on the 400 block of Sierra Madre Boulevard, a man was reported looking into the window of a female resident.

The victim immediately called Sierra Madre Police, who arrived shortly thereafter to survey the area. An officer located a male, later identified by the victim as Roger Wright, in the driveway of an apartment complex close by.

Since December of last year, the Sierra Madre Police Department has been investigating several prowler complaints in the neighborhood. Although still under investigation, Sierra Madre police are looking at Wright in connection with these cases.

The SMPD is currently seeking public assistance in investigating the case and is encouraging any Sierra Madre residents who may have witnessed a person looking in their window to call Sergeant Joe Ortiz at (626) 355-1414.
