Police Arrest Man for Possession of Meth, Probation Violation

The arrest was made on the evening of April 28.

At 9 p.m. on April 28, Sierra Madre police went to a residence in the 00 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard to conduct a felony probation compliance check. As they interviewed the individual on probation, the officers observed a white crystalline substance and narcotics paraphernalia in plain sight on an entry room table. Further investigation determined that the substance was methamphetamine. This constituted a violation of the terms of probation. The individual, a 28-year-old man, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
