Convicted Felon Found With Ammunition in Vehicle

The arrest took place on Feb. 28.

On Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m., a Sierra Madre police officer initiated a vehicle stop for an equipment violation in the area of Grandview Avenue and Jameson Court. while interviewing the driver, the officer detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, the officer found 9mm ammunition in the center console. Further investigation revealed that the 30-year-old driver was a felon, having been convicted for burglary in 2003.

As a convicted felon, the individual -- whose identity was not released - was prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition. He was arrested for 30305a P.C. (Convicted Felon in Possession of Ammunition).

What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
