No July 4 Arrests in Sierra Madre

One of the most dangerous days of the year for DUIs and other incidents was pretty quiet in Sierra Madre.

While the , only one was reported in Sierra Madre over the past week, Officer Henry Amos told Patch Thursday.

As for July 4 Sierra Madre arrests in general, Amos said none were reported and it appeared there was no increased criminal activity on Wednesday.

“As far as I know it was pretty quiet,” said Amos.

Since Friday, the only two reported arrests in Sierra Madre were the DUI, which took place Sunday, and an arrest for receiving stolen property, which occurred Friday.

Police forces from Sierra Madre and other cities will join together Friday to conduct more DUI patrols in the city and nearby areas.

Did you see any suspicious or criminal activity take place in Sierra Madre on July 4? Are you surprised by the lack of arrests on the holiday?

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
