Motorist Under Medication Crashes Into Tree

The vehicle sustained major damage in the May 2 accident.

At 1 a.m. on May 2, a vehicle travelling south on Hermosa Avenue approaching Sierra Madre Boulevard ran off the roadway and crashed into a tree. When Sierra Madre police arrived, the driver was conscious but incoherent. The investigation
revealed that the driver had taken new prescription medication and it may have caused an adverse effect. The driver was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital for treatment. The vehicle sustained major damage.
