Man Arrested After Argument Inside Apartment Escalates Into Violence

The altercation took place in the early morning hours of April 13.

At 4:30 a.m. on April 13, three individuals were involved in an argument inside an apartment in the 00 block of Esperanza. At one point, two of the individuals locked the third party out of the residence as he had become belligerent. That individual broke the living room window with a chair and tried to climb in. He failed at this and subsequently kicked the front door open. Once inside he punched one of the occupants several times in the face. When police arrived, the aggressor was arrested for battery and vandalism. The victim who was punched in the face suffered minor injuries.
