Alonzo Johnson is being charged for a string of crimes in Sierra Madre and South Pasadena.

The Sierra Madre Police Department has arrested a local man in connection with a string of burglaries in Sierra Madre and South Pasadena.

Alonzo Johnson, 49, was arrested by the South Pasadena Police Department and is being held in county jail, according to the county Sheriff's Department inmate information site.

According to a release from the Sierra Madre Police Department, Johnson was behind several commercial and residential burglaries in Sierra Madre in August.

A Sierra Madre detective heard of the arrest and noted details of the crimes in South Pasadena were similar to those in Sierra Madre, according to the department's release.  Johnson was then positively identified by a victim of a Sierra Madre burglary.

Johnson is being held in lieu of $2 million bail on charges including kidnapping, robbery and burglary, according to the release.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
