Elderly Woman Hit By Car at Glendora Crosswalk

The woman was airlifted to a nearby trauma center.

Los Angeles County rescuers flew an elderly woman from Foothill Presbyterian to LAC/USC Medical Center after she was hit by a car at Glendora crosswalk Thursday morning.

The 74-year-old woman was struck at Amelia Avenue and Country Club Drive by a southbound vehicle, according to Glendora Police.

The incident has been called an accident and no crime has been determined.

The condition of the woman is unavailable, although there is indication of head injuries, according to officials.

I agree, Irene. I saw an article in which someone who was 62 was described as elderly. I am 61 and personally, I don't think I'll allow anyone to call me elderly until I'm at least 90! Even if I have to beat 'em off with my cane!

@ Also a Parent, I feel so sorry for you! Everyone knows that God heals all that leans on him. God performs miracles everyday! Maybe we should all be adding you to our prayer chain as well. My prayers go out to the woman, her family, the driver, and everyone involved. Terrible accident.
