Crime Blotter: Vehicle Flips on Mountain Trail

A vehicle overturned Saturday night, but everyone escaped serious injury.

Crime blotter information provided by the Sierra Madre Police Department.

Saturday July 20, 2013

At 10:30am, a traffic collision took place in the intersection of Orange Grove Avenue and Mountain Trail Avenue.  A vehicle travelling south on Mountain Trail appropriately stopped for the stop sign but then entered the intersection directly into the path of a westbound vehicle.  The impact caused the westbound vehicle to flip upside down and the vehicle came to rest on its top. Remarkably, none of the parties sustained an injury.
