Crime Blotter: Rental Truck Traffic Collision

At 2pm a traffic collision took place at Sierra Madre Boulevard and Mountain Trail Avenue.  A large rental truck was attempting to make a wide right turn onto Mountain Trail and the driver signaled his intent. A passenger vehicle behind the truck attempted to make a right turn at the same time and drove into the gap between the truck and the right side of the truck. The truck struck the left side of the vehicle causing moderate damage.  No serious injuries were reported.
