Electronics, Jewelry Taken During Residential Burglary

On Jan. 16, a residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of Valle Vista Drive
between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. while the residents were at work. Unknown
suspect(s) entered through one of a number of unsecured doors
and ransacked the bedrooms and closets. While inside, the suspect(s)
barricaded the dog door with furniture to prevent the dog from entering
the residence. A laptop computer, small electric devices and jewelry were
taken during the break-in.

  • Vicious animals – but not a bear walking through the neighborhood or yard

Residents are asked not to call 9-1-1 to report any non-emergency problems or to ask questions; instead, please call the Police Department's non-emergency line at (626) 355-1414.
