Crime Blotter: Battery Investigation in Child Visitation Dispute

Crime blotter information provided by the Sierra Madre Police Department.

Friday June 28, 2013

At 9pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Mariposa Avenue to investigate a report of a battery.  A male and a female, who have a dating relationship, got into a verbal argument about child visitation matters.  The male alleged that at one point, the female struck him in the face with an open hand.  The female denied this and was supported by another adult witness at the location.  Additionally there was no visible injury evident.  The investigation was referred for detective follow up.
