Anaheim Man Airlifted From Forest After Fall

A 21-year-old man couldn't walk after falling about 30 feet near Hermit Falls Sunday afternoon, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff's deputies and the Air 5 rescue helicopter airlifted a 21-year-old Anaheim man who had fallen about 30 feet over Hermit Falls in the Angeles National Forest at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

A paramedic was lowered and helped pull the man into the chopper, according to the Sheriff's Department, adding that the man was found laying in a pool of water unable to walk. He was then treated and released to the . No one from the team was immediately available for comment or additional details.
