U-Haul: Free Storage, Boxes for Wind Victims
The U-Haul Companies of Los Angeles East and San Bernardino are offering 30 days of free storage and portable storage containers to residents affected by the wind storm.
Victims of the recent San Gabriel Valley windstorms that uprooted trees and destroyed some houses are being offered free help by a moving-truck rental company, the firm said today.
The of Los Angeles East and San Bernardino are offering 30 days of free storage and portable storage containers to residents who have been affected by recent, powerful windstorms that swept across Southern California, a company official said.
Residents are being offered "U-Boxes," which can be filled up with belongings and then trucked away by the company.

The firm will transport and store the pods for one month for free. In addition, people who need cardboard boxes can get them for free at U-Haul locations in the San Gabriel Valley.
The company was also encouraging people with any type of reusable box to drop them off at the nearest U-Haul location to allow another family to reuse the box, free of charge.
