Last Chance: Discount on Firecracker Fun Run

Register by Tuesday for Sierra Madre's Fourth of July Firecracker Fun Run to save money on your entry fee and secure a t-shirt.

Runners, don't delay! If you want to kick off our nation's birthday by running 5K in Sierra Madre, register for the Fourth of July Firecracker Fun Run by this Tuesday, June 26. The entry fee for kids 10-years-old and under is $10, while everyone else is $20.

After Tuesday, it's $25 per person, no matter what age.

Registering by Tuesday will also guarantee that you'll receive a Fun Run t-shirt.

The second annual Firecracker Fun Runwill follow the Fourth of July Parade route. Runners will begin in Kersting Court, run east on Sierra Madre Blvd. to Sierra Vista Park, then turn around and run west on Sierra Madre Blvd. until Sunnyside Ave. Then, runners will head back to Kersting Court.

The race starts at 8:00 a.m., but check-in is from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

The race is put on thanks to the Spero Foundation and Fourth of July Committee.

Register in-person at the Community Recreation Center, 611 E Sierra Madre Blvd. in Sierra Madre.

What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
