THE BEST MAGIC SHOW EVER!

The Children's Magic Workshop is an international group of just over a dozen of the world's best magicians for children.  Last holiday season, they came to Los Angeles, home of the World Famous Magic Castle, and created “The Best Magic Show Ever!” to benefit Hillsides House in Pasadena.  The sold out show was so successful in fund-raising and  FUN-raising, that they have turned this comedy and magic spectacular into an annual event. Thanks in part to a generous donation by A Noise Within Theater in the heart of Pasadena, there are two shows this year, for a TWICE in a lifetime opportunity to see a once in a lifetime family comedy magic show.
It's about jaw dropping, rubbing your eyes, laughing so hard your stomach hurts comedy and magic, and it’s about raising money for the great people at Hillsides, who, for the past 100 years have provided excellent care and education for at risk youth. It's magic for children benefitting children!  And, oh what a magic show it is!  A combination of Los Angeles’ best magicians and jugglers will be performing the most amazing and most FUN magic for two shows only, at the prestigious Noise Within Theater in Pasadena, December 28th at 1:30 and 4PM. Amazing magic - amazingly fun!
Appearing in this super fun show are a gaggle of Magic Castle favorites: Abracadave (Dave Cox) award winning magician who is fresh from his tour of Europe and the Drama Desk nominated show Bellomania on Broadway; Funny Eddie (Eddie Medrano) former Ringling Brothers Clown who ran AWAY from the circus, because magic was more fun; Amazing Juggler Michael Rayner, who you have seen on David Letterman, and your kids have seen on Nickelodeon; the ridiculously fun and charming Bruce Gold, who you may have seen on cruise ships around the world, or on TV as the Got Milk magician; and many, many more special guests and surprises.
Hillsides provides care for at risk youth. Founded 100 years ago, HILLSIDES' mission is to create safe places for children, strengthen families, provide special education; and advocate for children’s rights. This Southern Californianon profit creates safe places for children in its residential treatment program where children living in the group homes are in foster care or have been referred by the Department of Mental Health. While on the campus, they reside in a secure stable environment, which enables them to heal and rebuild trusting relationships with adults.
Dave Cox:  “It’s an amazing show for an amazing cause.  We had so much success last year – we’ve been getting inquiries from parents and grandparents who want to 1) do something super fun that they can enjoy with their whole family that also helps a great cause, and 2) get the kids out of the house while they’re on break. As a loving parent myself, sometimes the best trick in the world is giving my lovely daughter something fun to do while school’s out.”
