Enjoy a Bit o' Britain at the June Faire!

Come celebrate "All Things British" at The British Home's annual June Faire, Saturday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Booths and boutiques will offer arts and crafts, books, tools, collectibles, personal accessories, decorative items and household goods for sale.  All proceeds are donated and help support The Home and its residents.

Refreshments will include Ploughman's lunches, English bangers, home-baked breads and pastries, strawberries and ice cream and children's fare.  A proper "cuppa" and English sweets and savories can be enjoyed at an outdoor Victorian Tea Room.

Live entertainment will feature adults and youngsters performing traditional Morris, Scottish and Irish dances.  A strolling Bobby and Beefeater will be at the ready for a "photo op."

On the south lawn children can work off energy in the bouncy house or have their faces painted by the Home's resident artist.

The Home, located at 647 Manzanita Ave. in Sierra Madre, is in a residential area, with free street parking available on Ramona and Manzanita Avenues and along the side streets.  For more info call 626-355-7240.
