Osama Bin Laden Dead, President Obama Announces in Special Address

Reports indicate terrorist leader was killed in U.S. bomb attack.

The New York Times is reporting that a White House official has said Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden has been killed. The president is expected to make an announcement on Sunday night. The report comes nearly ten years after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, for which Bin Laden has been sought by military forces throughout the Middle East.

NBC televison news is also reporting that not only have Bin Laden been killed, but that his body is in the custody of U.S. military forces. Though this has yet to be confirmed.
