City's Annual Whale Watching Excursion Planned for March 2

Tickets to take part in the excursion at Long Beach must be purchased by Feb. 19.

Take a trip on the deep blue sea and join the Community Services Department for its annual Whale Watching excursion on Saturday, March 2.

The 2.5-hour excursion will be narrated by Aquarium of the Pacific staff on a charter boat with a two level viewing deck. Snacks are available for purchase on the boat, or lunches can be brought aboard.

Transportation to and from Long Beach will be provided. The group will leave from the Community Recreation Center, 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., at 10 a.m. and return at 3:30pm

The cost for the trip is $31.00 per person and those interested must register by Tuesday, Feb. 19. For more information call 626-355-5278.
