Big Bear's Last Night Skiing Session is Today
Take a short trip to Big Bear Lake and enjoy up to 60" of snow. Today is the last Night Session to ski at Snow Summit. Lifts run until 9p.m.
Do you remember the cold snap that came through Southern California a couple weeks ago and dropped daytime temperatures into the 30s in some local areas, not to mention graupel? Well Big Bear was graced with single digit temps and over 30 inches of fresh powdery snow.
Guess what? The snow is still sitting pretty, all 36 to 60 inches of it, waiting, begging, daring you to go ride, ski, or roll down it. Big Bear Lake is home of Southern California’s premier mountain resorts, Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, both within miles of each other.
Best of all, with conditions sunny and no snow chains required, the drive up should be relatively safe and easy.

Keep in mind Highway 330 off of the 210 is closed. There are three alterative routes you can take: Highway 18 off of the 210 through Lake Arrowhead, Highway 38 via Interstate 10 in Redlands, CA, or Highway 38 via Interstate 15 north off of the 210.
Ticket prices vary, with all-day passes, half-day passes, and night passes. Weekend premium rates are priced at $69 per adult for a full-day pass. You get access to both parks with a any full-day lift ticket. Shuttles between the two parks are offered free of charge.

The last night session of the season at Snow Summit takes place today, Saturday March 12 and runs from 3p.m.-9p.m.
