The Bottle Shop is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday, according to its website

Since 1963, The Bottle Shop has offered the local community of Sierra Madre a large selection of wine, beer and liquor.

"Join us to celebrate The Bottle Shop's 50th Anniversary with wine and appetizers at the Tasting Room," a post on the shop's website reads. "No reservations required but you will not want to miss this event as we shall be pouring an array of fabulous wines and beers (over 100) served with delicious appetizers. Deanna Cogan and Dave Osti will be performing. If you've never heard Deanna sing, she will put a dent in your heart that will never go away! $10."

In 2012, the shop expanded its horizons and opened a wine tasting room

“I decided to open a wine tasting room to give customers the ability to taste wine before they purchase it and to educate customers on various wines,” owner Bill Sullivan told Patch in 2012.
